The Agroecological Transitions Group

The Agroecological Transitions Group works with agroecology as a "realm where science, practice and social movements converge to seek a transition to sustainable food systems, built upon the foundations of equity, participation and justice” (FAO, 2015).
By using mixed-methods approaches, we investigate topics of diversified, democratically organized and culturally acceptable food systems. The group aims to contribute to sustainable and fair agri-food system transformations from social-ecological systems research.
